Issa Babatunde AREMU is a lecturer in the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, University of Ilorin, with 14 years of university teaching, research, and experience.

He has served as a member of various faculty and university committees. His areas of research interest cover diagnostic and interventional radiology, neuroradiology, health informatics, artificial intelligence, and global health. He has to his credit over twenty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings, and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised many dissertations for fellowship examinations at both the National Postgraduate Medical College and the West Africa College of Surgeons. He has also won many training scholarships and research grants. Dr. Aremu is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.

  • Master of Science Superspecialization in Interventional Radiology 2024- Muhimbili National Hospital of Health and Allied Science, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
  • Fellow of Medical College in Radiology (FMCR). 2006- National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria.
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) 1995 – University of Ilorin
